The Spark

There's a saying, "When you know, you know," and that was exactly how I felt. The first time I saw them, I knew it. They came together just like this morning, as naturally as night needs daylight and the moon needs the sky.

The sun began to rise slowly, knowing that our happy faces needed its light to brighten our day. It was like a giant fireball had decided to illuminate our lives, preparing us for the day ahead in the best way possible. In the distance, the fog gradually dissipated among the sun's rays, and the green mountains started to wake up.

Their hands began to sweat, and their faces beamed with wide smiles, filled with a whirlwind of emotions—from happiness to excitement. The roller coaster of feelings was there; it was happening! She carefully descended each stair, reaching the ground floor. She was radiant—her dress adorned with intricate details, her hair perfectly waved, and her best accessory, the little blue necklace. Oh, that necklace! Wearing it on this day made me emotional, not only for its significance but also for the meaning of 'blue'—purity, love, and loyalty, qualities they embodied every day.

I could almost feel his heartbeat, even though he was quite a distance away, facing the wall. He was waiting for his beautiful bride. The moment he turned around and saw her, his eyes welled up with tears, and everything felt calm. Their hands began to move closer, and with each passing second, they drew nearer until they embraced and kissed each other. When he twirled her, it was hard to tell if our tears were from the bright sunlight or from seeing their joyful faces together.

It wasn't just their spark that brought me joy, but the energy they shared with us.  ‘The Spark’ of love, friendship, respect and support. 🪶
