For a moment, time stopped. No more rush. No more running. Everything seemed still when, in fact, it moved faster than day-to-day life.
She could sense the engine roaring in sync with her heartbeat as the gentle sunset embraced her, bidding her good night. The darkness was timid, slowly appearing, bringing even more peace and stillness.
She looked through the window, letting go of all her thoughts. The buildings became smaller and smaller, like ants in her grandma’s garden. There always seemed to be more of them every time she visited that place.
We humans are the giants looking down on the ants, but in reality, we are small and fragile creatures, just like them.
The sky was showing her endless opportunities, ideas, and hopes. It felt both relieving and powerful. Freedom flowed through her veins. For a moment, it could have been scary - the new horizon waiting for her to be reborn, to bloom like a snowdrop, growing bolder.
On the other side, he gazed at the sky, watching the shooting star streak across it, faster and faster, until it disappeared from sight. He closed his eyes, wishing to see her one more time. 🪶
