Dear Autumn Letter

Dear Autumn,

You saved the best part for my favorite season. That’s so kind of you!

You amaze me every year in different ways, and this year you showed me how patience works in my favor.

I’ve had a lot of time for reflection. It took me a while to understand that good things take time, and to accept everything happening around me. (I’ll admit, it wasn’t easy!)

And the colors -  oh, the colors. So beautiful. The layers of green, yellow, and brown. The rain pouring down the leaves, the mud, the quiet. The sky is not my favorite now, and you know that, but here I am, trying to find beauty in the darkness and in the stillness.

Everything is slowing down, isn’t it? Maybe I should, too. :)

I traveled to different places this autumn. I saw beautiful landscapes and met amazing people. I’ll write to you about it soon (Get ready!)
